Our Vision
God called us to make faithful disciples of Jesus who live the Authentic Faith that produces Real Transformation. As a result, the San Antonio metropolitan area will be changed with the Christian influence being increasingly felt in families, businesses, education, and media. We further intend to multiply our worldwide ministry by planting churches, by preparing our people for ministry, by sending out ministry teams, and by becoming a resource center for other ministries.
Our Story
Arise Church was established on March 8, 2015 with the purpose of developing authentic believers. Our first service was humbly held in the living room of one our partners. With little to no resources we answered the call. Through our faithfulness, we have seen God perform miracles.
Today we continue to have the same eager spirit. We have seen growth, but we know God has more in store for us. We long to continue to give people a place of peace and hope.

Jose G. Rodriguez, Ph.D.
Lead Pastor & Founder
Dr. Jose G. Rodriguez, "Dr. J," is a servant, husband, dad, pastor, author, educator, mental coach, Navy veteran, and podcast creator.Dr. J. earned his Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Our Lady of the Lake University, Master of Divinity from Regent University, and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Dr. J. devotes his time to family, ministry, and education. He and his wife are the proud parents of 4 children. They are the founders of Arise Church in San Antonio, Texas. He is a former high school dropout and addict. His life has been transformed. Now, he dedicates his time to helping others overcome life's struggles. His purpose is to help others Dream Big and Reach Higher while developing Authentic Faith that produces Real Transformation.

Ruby A. Rodriguez, M.A.
Pastor
Pastor Ruby is the devoted wife of pastor Jose. She is passionate about serving the Lord and the church community. As a pastor's wife, she is committed to supporting her husband in his spiritual journey and leadership role. She earned her Bachelor's degree from St. Mary's University and a Master's from Regent University. Despite her busy schedule, she always finds time to engage with and provide support to church partners. Pastor Ruby is greatly loved and respected for her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering faith. When not ministering, she enjoys her time at home with her husband and children.
Judah C. Rodriguez, B.S.
Worship Pastor
Pastor Judah serves as the Worship Pastor at Arise Church. With a deep passion for music and a heart for the church, He has been leading worship since the birth of Arise Church. He believes in creating an environment where people can experience the presence of God through worship. In addition to leading the congregation in song, Pastor Judah oversees the church's music ministry, training and mentoring musicians and worship leaders. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Music from Liberty University. When he's not leading worship, Pastor Judah enjoys spending gaming, working out, writing songs, and playing guitar.
