Events & Hospitality

The Events and Hospitality Ministry aims to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all church services and special events. This team organizes and executes events, ensuring that attendees feel valued and cared for. From planning to clean-up, they handle logistics, manage event spaces, and provide refreshments and decorations.

Gatekeeper

The Gatekeeper Ministry is the first point of contact for church attendees, offering a warm welcome and assisting with seating and other needs. This team ensures that everyone feels valued and cared for from the moment they arrive. 
Responsibilities
  • Welcome attendees with a friendly greeting
  • Assist with seating and direction
  • Distribute connect cards and giving envelopes
  • Help with offerings and communion distribution
  • Assist with any special needs or requests from attendees

Parking Lot

The Parking Lot Ministry ensures a smooth and safe parking experience for church attendees. This team directs traffic, assists with parking, and provides a welcoming presence from the moment people arrive at the church. 
Responsibilities
  • Direct vehicles to available parking spots
  • Assist elderly or disabled attendees with parking and getting to the church entrance
  • Provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere

Production

The Production Ministry is dedicated to creating an immersive and impactful worship experience for our congregation and online audience. Our mission is to enhance the delivery of God's Word with the use of cameras, soundboards, computer graphics, and lighting, ensuring all technical aspects run smoothly to create an engaging environment for worship. 
Responsibilities
  • Manage lighting for weekly services
  • Operate cameras for live streaming, ensuring high-quality video production and smooth transitions between shots
  • Manage ProPresenter software to display lyrics, sermon graphics, and other visual elements
  • Operate and maintain sound equipment
Skills
  • Technical proficiency with audio/visual equipment
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with ProPresenter or similar presentation software
  • Experience with video cameras and live streaming equipment

Security

The Security Ministry is dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of the congregation and church property. This team monitors the premises during services, provides a visible security presence, and responds to any emergencies or security concerns. 
Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergencies and security concerns promptly
  • Work with local law enforcement if necessary

  • Experience in security or related field is preferred

Social Media

The Social Media Ministry is responsible for managing the church’s online presence, including social media platforms and photography. This team creates engaging content, shares updates, and captures moments through photography to connect with the congregation and wider community. 
Responsibilities
  • Manage social media accounts
  • Create and post engaging content regularly
  • Take photographs of church events, services, and activities
  • Collaborate with other ministries to share relevant information

Worship

The Worship Ministry is dedicated to leading the congregation in worship through music and song. This team plans and performs worship sets and strives to create an atmosphere of authentic worship. 
Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead worship music for services
  • Participate in rehearsals and sound checks
  • Foster a spirit of worship and encourage congregation participation
  • Utilize and incorporate various musical instruments and vocals to enhance worship
  • Work with the production team to ensure proper sound and visual presentation during services
